With bold growth plans and strong momentum across multiple markets, we’re now looking for a Senior AML Specialist for the next phase of growth.</span></p><h5><span>About the Role</span></h5><p><span>As an AML Officer, you will bridge the gap between regulatory strategy and operational execution, taking end-to-end ownership of our financial crime defenses. You will drive the optimization of our risk frameworks, ensuring that our compliance operations scale efficiently alongside our rapid commercial growth. This is a mission-critical role where your decisions directly protect the bank while enabling a seamless experience for our entrepreneurial customers.</span></p><h5><span>Key responsibilities</span></h5><ul><li><p><span>Optimize customer due diligence processes, refining CDD, EDD, and ODD workflows based on quality assurance findings and regulatory updates.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Resolve complex customer escalations, acting as the primary decision-maker for high-risk cases involving intricate corporate structures or PEPs.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage the AML quality assurance program, designing internal controls and implementing structured process improvements based on performance data.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist the Financial Crime team by compiling relevant documentation and background data to support the preparation of accurate reports for the Financial Intelligence Unit.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead cross-functional automation initiatives, collaborating with technical teams to leverage AI tools for smarter, more efficient compliance workflows.</span></p></li></ul><h5><span>What we’re looking for</span></h5><p><span>We are looking for an analytical professional who brings a structured approach to complex regulatory landscapes and thrives in an environment with high autonomy. You have a proven ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and are motivated to build scalable frameworks rather than just maintaining the status quo.</span></p><h5><span>Qualifications</span></h5><ul><li><p><span>Several years of hands-on experience within AML/CTF, financial crime prevention, or compliance, ideally within a regulated fintech or banking environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Deep knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, including managing UBO structures, sanctions edge cases, and PEP/RCA evaluations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated track record of leading small-scale process improvement or change management projects.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable operational steps for different teams.</span></p></li></ul><h5><span>Why Qred?</span></h5><p><span>This is the place to be if you’re looking for a place to grow.
