This is a <strong>hands-on, broad financial accounting role</strong> supporting month-end close, balance-sheet integrity, statutory compliance and internal control improvements.</span></p><p><span>You will work closely with the Head of Finance and across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and global finance teams (Japan, US, Europe). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys <strong>ownership, structure, problem-solving and continuous improvement</strong> in a small team environment.</span></p><div><hr></div><p><span><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p><p><span><strong>Financial Reporting & Month-End</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist with <strong>timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting</strong>.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and P&L schedules in line with AASB requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform <strong>timely balance-sheet reconciliations</strong>, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support management reporting, variance analysis and reporting packs for local and overseas HQ.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain fixed asset registers and prepare year-end schedules.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Governance, Compliance & Audit</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Support <strong>internal audit, J-SOX and Mutual Audit</strong> requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and reconciliations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure compliance with <strong>AASB accounting standards</strong> and internal accounting policies.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist with strengthening <strong>internal controls</strong>, risk mitigation activities and control documentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to the development and maintenance of <strong>SOPs and process documentation</strong>.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>General Ledger & ERP</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Maintain accurate general and subsidiary ledgers in <strong>Sage X3</strong>.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform AR, AP, intercompany and control account reconciliations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use <strong>Nectari (Excel plug-in)</strong> and Excel to extract, analyse and reconcile data.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support system improvements, reporting enhancements and process automation.</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Ad-hoc & Projects</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist with ad-hoc finance projects, process reviews a
