Auditor for GIA

We are seeking an experienced auditor to our client in the Danish banking industry. Your responsibilities: You will be performing (plan, execute, test and report) a mandatory audit, required by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (BEK 1529, appendix 4). The auditor must, on a sample basis, review and assess whether the bookkeeping is organised in a manner which facilitates financial reporting to the Danish FSA. The outcome statement should clearly demonstrate that all business procedures and internal controls are properly organised and sufficiently documented, and that the documentation supports the bookkeeping as a reliable basis for reporting to the Danish FSA. The audit is expected to leverage data analytics to verify the completeness of the reconciliation file by reconciling it with the underlying source data (UNIK and BC365). As this is a recurring audit procedure, the service provider is also expected to propose ideas for delivering efficient and effective coverage of this audit activity going forward. Must-have knowledge and experience Experienced internal auditor Proficiency in Danish Experience with financial reporting Experience from financial sector Nice-to-have knowledge and experience Experience with leading internal audit projects Knowledge about International Internal Audit Standards (IIA) Knowledge about Danish Banking industry and GIA.
