We bridge clients and partners & professionals throughout the talent supply chain, for the benefit of individuals, organizations and society. 🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior Performance Java Engineer 🔹 Description: The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining Java-based applications that handle taxation, account management, and investment processing for pension and savings products. Location: Gdynia/Gdansk/Warsaw hybrid work: 3 days at office per week Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investments products Build robust calculation engines ensuring compliance with current tax regulations across multiple countries Develop support for complex business processes, integrating with tax authorities, and generating customer facing reports Participate in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment Collaborate with financial analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions Mentor other developers, act as a code reviewer or design sparring partner, and spread practical engineering practices across the team Use AI-assisted development and automation responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and learning Required Skills: Java 21 Spring Boot PostgreSQL Messaging protocols such as JMS, MQ Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate) Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL) Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles Contact person: mateusz.jozefiak@eworkgroup.com Client code: BN01 Do you know someone who would fit this position?
