We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Interventional Oncology & Imaging to help drive RaySearch's expansion into adjacent clinical markets beyond our core radiation oncology business. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future growth of RaySearch by identifying, evaluating, and developing opportunities within interventional oncology, radiology, diagnostic imaging, and image-guided therapies. As healthcare continues to evolve towards increasingly personalized and minimally invasive treatment approaches, this role will play a key part in shaping our strategy and market presence within these emerging segments. The role will be part of the Corporate Development & Strategy organization and report to the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy. About the job In this global role, you will analyze the interventional oncology market and work to identify and assist in executing new commercial growth opportunities. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Strategy Managers, and Strategic Partnership Managers to develop and drive targeted initiatives that strengthen market share, accelerate adoption, and generate pipeline growth across the interventional oncology & imaging product portfolio. You will translate strategic direction into concrete market activities, ensuring strong alignment between product positioning, customer needs, and commercial execution. Your main tasks Lead market intelligence activities to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Interventional Oncology and Imaging landscape, including market size, customer needs, competitive positioning, pricing strategies, reimbursement models, purchasing pathways, and emerging technology trends Evaluate emerging clinical evidence and market opportunities arising from advances in software-enabled Interventional Oncology workflows, including treatment assessment, image fusion, and ablative margin evaluation, and develop strategies to build upon these innovations through future product, partnership, and business development initiatives Develop and execute growth strategies for RaySearch's Interventional Oncology and Imaging portfolio. Working specifically with RaySearch’s new product for planning and verification of liver ablation. The product uses the methods described by Odisio et al (Software-based versus visual assessment of the minimal ablative margin in patients with liver tumours undergoing percutaneous thermal ablation (COVER-ALL): a randomised phase 2 trial) Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging clinical trends Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across radiology, interventional oncology, diagnostic imaging, and related clinical specialties Conduct market assessments, competitive analysis, and business case development Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure market insights and customer needs are reflected in portfolio planning and product strategy Identify and assess partnership opportunities that support strategic growth objectives Work closely with Sales teams to support commercial execution and accelerate market adoption Monitor competitive developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to imaging and interventional oncology Your profile You are commercially minded, strategically driven, and passionate about healthcare innovation. You enjoy understanding complex markets, identifying growth opportunities, and translating insights into actionable business strategies. You are comfortable engaging with clinicians, industry partners, and senior stakeholders, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can influence strategic decisions and help shape the future direction of the business. Experience & Skills MSc in Medical Physics, Medical Radiation Physics, Physics with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience of working in a Hospital A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oncology or imaging market, with experience in a commercial role Or a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic marketing, product management, commercial strategy, or market development within healthcare technology, medical devices, medical imaging, or healthcare software Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience working in international and cross-functional environments Excellent command of English, spoken and written It is considered a strong advantage if you have experience within: Interventional Oncology Interventional Radiology Diagnostic Imaging Radiology Medical Imaging Software Image-Guided Therapy
