We combine startup agility with the global impact of two industry leaders.</p><p>As a Camera Software Expert, you will play a key role in shaping how camera technologies power the vehicles of tomorrow. Your expertise in end-to-end camera software implementation will directly influence the success of the company’s platform— enabling advanced safety functions, new digital features, and scalable vision systems for trucks and buses worldwide. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge embedded systems while also contributing to long-term concept development and product expansion.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do</strong><br>In this role, you will:<br>• Collaborate across teams to build a software-defined vehicle platform capable of leveraging camera data for ADAS, vision, HMI, mirror-replacement and other perception-oriented features.<br>• Define and design embedded camera pipelines and processing solutions.<br>• Support in formulating requirements and needs towards hardware (camera modules, sensors, HPC platforms).<br>• Develop proofs of concept, reference applications, technical demos, and early prototypes.<br>• Bring up camera systems end-to-end: sensor selection, configuration, drivers, pipelines, and data usage downstream.<br>• Mentor and support colleagues to strengthen the organisation’s competence in camera technologies.</p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong><br>You combine strong technical depth with collaboration skills and a product mindset.<br>You likely have:</p><p><strong>Technical Competencies</strong><br>• Experience with development and integration of camera systems on embedded platforms (e.g. sensor bring-up, ISP pipelines, sensor drivers, exposure control, HDR).<br>• Deep understanding of camera pipeline concepts (AEC, AWB, HDR, lens correction, etc.).<br>• Hands-on experience using cameras for ADAS, HMI, computer vision, or similar applications.<br>• Comfort working across hardware/software boundaries, understanding system- level trade-offs.<br>• Ability to operate at both architectural/system level and do hands-on software implementation.</p><p><strong>Collaborative & Product Skills</strong><br>• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders or customers.<br>• Excitement about working in a fast-paced startup-like environment with cross- functional collaboration.<br>• Ability to translate product needs into technical requirements and practical solutions.</p><p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong><br>A strong Camera Software Expert:<br>• Collaborates effortlessly across teams, roles, and seniority levels.<br>• Moves fluidly between system-level thinking and detailed technical execution.<br>• Delivers tangible impact through prototypes, concepts, and reference implementations.<br>• Actively contributes to building organisational knowledge—reviewing, guiding, mentoring.</p><p><strong>Why Join?</strong><br>• Work on transformative technology for some of the world’s largest commercial vehicle platforms.<br>• Be part of a growing startup backed by global industry leaders.<br>• Collaborate with top engineers within software, cloud, embedded systems, safety, and platform architecture.<br>• Influence product direction and technology choices in a greenfield environment.</p>
