Qualifications What you will do As Category Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a global category with vision, strategy, and compassion. You’ll help shape the future of how we source, develop, and deliver Aluminum, Mirrors & Glass– all while championing an environment where everyone can contribute, build trusted relationships, and play a part in a more sustainable IKEA. More specifically, your assignment will include: Leading the Aluminum, Mirrors & Glass category – from strategy through to execution – in collaboration with colleagues from IKEA’s Home Furnishing and Components businesses. Developing and implementing the Category Business Plan, ensuring alignment with IKEA’s long-term goals and commitment to sustainability. Building and guiding high-performing, inclusive teams, nurturing individual strengths and fostering a culture where growth, trust, and togetherness are valued. Driving innovation in materials and production techniques to reduce cost and CO₂ emissions, supporting IKEA’s sustainability journey. Strengthening supplier relationships through transparency, shared objectives, and a focus on long-term progress. Collaborating across the Category Area Metal, Plastic & Float Glass, contributing your unique perspective to strategic projects and helping to shape the future of our business together.
