Community & Social Media Manager Permanent Employment - full time Location: Skövde, Sweden Stunlock Studios is looking for an experienced community and social media professional to join our journey with V Rising. With a new game currently in development, this is an exciting opportunity to help grow, support, and engage the community around our games. Role Summary As part of the Stunlock Studios Marketing team, the Community & Social Media Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day community engagement, social media activity, and player-facing communication across digital platforms. The role focuses on maintaining strong community engagement, supporting live-service communication, executing social media and marketing initiatives, and ensuring healthy interaction between the studio and its player base. Responsibilities Community Management Maintain an active presence across community platforms and social channels, including Discord and other player-facing platforms Build and maintain positive relationships with players, moderators, creators, influencers, and community contributors Monitor community sentiment, player feedback, gameplay discussions, social channels, and emerging trends to stay attuned to player concerns, engagement opportunities, and ongoing issues Act as a bridge between players and development teams by communicating relevant feedback, concerns, and ongoing discussions internally Facilitate spaces for community feedback, discussion, and engagement Moderate community platforms and help maintain a healthy and welcoming environment aligned with the studio’s values and goals Organize and support community activities, creator initiatives, test groups, beta participation, player engagement programs, and player-facing events when required Social Media & Content Operations Manage and maintain the studio’s day-to-day social media presence across relevant platforms Plan, create, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content, marketing communication, and community-facing announcements Develop lightweight visual content, memes, edits, promotional materials, campaign assets, and platform-specific content for social media and community initiatives Support marketing campaigns, launches, promotional initiatives, influencer activations, and community programs through player-facing communication and engagement Assist with copywriting, post formatting, messaging, campaign communication, and tone across social and community channels Maintain social media calendars, campaign schedules, platform updates, and recurring communication workflows Support reporting, trend analysis, audience insights, and engagement tracking across platforms Live Communication & Player Support Support and execute community-facing communication around updates, launches, live events, campaigns, and player-facing announcements, adapting messaging for relevant channels and helping coordinate community content, patch notes, and player-facing communication Coordinate timely and appropriate communication during live operational issues and other sensitive player-facing situations Assist customer support and moderation workflows as needed, including escalation handling and communication Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Collaborate closely with marketing, development, production, and support teams to ensure alignment of campaign communications Assist with gathering player feedback, summarizing community insights, and reporting actionable information internally Support creator and influencer relationships through communication, engagement, feedback collection, and community initiatives Support external collaborations and community-related events when required Preferred Skills & Experience Strong passion for games and community-driven multiplayer experiences, with a deep interest in learning and understanding V Rising, its world, gameplay systems, player behavior, and community culture Experience working with social media, online communities, or community management within games or entertainment Strong understanding of gaming communities, live-service environments, and player engagement Basic graphic design and content editing skills, including experience with Photoshop or similar creative tools Ability to create lightweight visual content and adapt assets for social media platforms Strong written English communication skills with a solid understanding of tone, audience engagement, marketing communication, and online community interaction Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities, live communication needs, and campaign-driven workflows Being a Stunlocker It's not all about games, at Stunlock we value our employees and do what we can to make sure you feel well taken care of.
