Electrical Systems Design Engineer – Overhead Cranes

Industrial Electrical Systems Engineer Location: Ashland, VA (Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Starting Pay: $39.00 per hour (higher compensation may be available based on experience) Overtime: Not available Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement of electrical and control systems used in overhead lifting and material handling equipment. This role is fully onsite and requires a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, controls design, and industrial equipment. The successful candidate will work on both new equipment projects and modernization efforts while ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable industry standards.
