IT Program Manager – Nordic CRM Transformation Purpose The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the IT delivery of a Nordic CRM transformation spanning two countries. The program has a significant impact on the current organisation and involves 60+ systems, coordination across 10+ technology teams, and multiple vendors. This is an execution-focused role that requires a senior leader who can drive results, create delivery momentum, follow up relentlessly, and ensure that decisions, dependencies, risks and actions are converted into concrete outcomes. The role does not oversee delivery of the core CRM platform itself but is accountable for managing the end-to-end IT impact of the CRM implementation across the existing system landscape, architecture, and operating model. This includes both upstream customer-facing platforms and downstream operational and enterprise systems affected by the new CRM. A significant part of the role focuses on introducing and integrating new technology platforms alongside the CRM, ensuring alignment with target architecture, delivery plans, and organisational readiness. In addition to the core agile and DevOps delivery teams, the IT Program Manager leads and coordinates IT program streams covering analysis, migration, transition, testing and quality assurance, cloud platform, and architecture. The role has no direct line management responsibility for the people delivering the work. Delivery resources sit within other teams, functions and vendor organisations. Success therefore depends on the ability to lead through influence, create accountability across matrix teams, and drive delivery through clear ownership, structured follow-up, constructive challenge and timely escalation. Key Responsibilities • Own overall IT coordination and delivery management for the Nordic CRM transformation • Drive delivery execution across teams by ensuring clear ownership, deadlines, dependencies and structured follow-up routines • Actively chase progress on agreed actions, decisions and deliverables across internal teams, vendors and program streams • Create accountability without direct reporting lines by establishing transparent commitments, action tracking and escalation routines • Hold teams, stakeholders and vendors accountable for commitments, escalating blockers, unclear ownership or lack of progress early and constructively • Lead end-to-end IT change across upstream and downstream systems, including business requirement support towards the core CRM, definition of IT epics, and oversight of agile delivery across multiple DevOps teams • Drive adoption of agile ways of working and promote continuous improvement, including opportunities enabled by AI and automation • Lead and coordinate IT program streams (analysis, migration, transition, test & QA, cloud platform, architecture) • Ensure alignment between business priorities, IT delivery, architecture, and vendor execution • Manage risks, issues, and delivery trade-offs across a complex system and platform landscape • Ensure that risks and issues are not only reported, but actively driven to resolution with clear owners and target dates • Drive governance, reporting, and decision material for program and steering forums Profile & Traits • Proven experience leading large-scale IT transformations in complex organisations • Strong execution mindset with proven ability to drive complex deliveries to completion in a matrix organisation • Able to deliver results through people who do not report directly to them, using influence, structure, clarity and stakeholder management • Comfortable creating urgency and constructive pressure across senior stakeholders, team leads, DevOps teams, vendors and specialist functions • Persistent follow-up style; does not accept unclear ownership, vague answers or passive reporting • Able to challenge delays, unclear commitments and lack of progress in a firm, constructive and professional way • Strong understanding of agile delivery, DevOps practices, and modern platform-based IT landscapes • Able to both support and challenge teams — building capability while maintaining firm delivery focus • Clear, structured, and decisive, with the ability to turn ambiguity into concrete actions and plans • Trusted leader who creates momentum through clarity, collaboration, and accountability • The IT Program Manager reports into the program governance and works closely with an executive steering group consisting of C-level and senior executives across the Nordic organisation Delivery Leadership & Execution Expectations This role requires a hands-on, execution-driven program leader who can create momentum in a complex environment with many dependencies and stakeholders. The IT Program Manager is expected to actively drive delivery forward, not only coordinate status. This includes chasing actions, following up on commitments, challenging delays, clarifying ownership and escalating blockers when needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable holding teams, vendors and stakeholders accountable for agreed deliverables, even when they do not report directly to them. They must bring structure, urgency and consequence into the program, ensuring that plans are translated into action and that risks, issues and dependencies are actively resolved.
