Jetty and Terminal Operator - Bristol

Could you be the person we’re looking for to join our team in Bristol as our new Jetty & Terminal Operator ? We want to hear from you! What would your day at GAC look like? Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, security, health & environmental protection. Following company & client procedures & report all hazards, incidents & safety concerns. Ensuring vessels are correctly moored and aligned with shore loading arms and connections. Ensuring safe access via properly rigged gangways. Monitoring throughout operations Connecting/disconnecting loading arms and spool pieces. Operating valves to direct product through the correct pipeline into shore tanks. Completing Ship Shore Checklists and conducting regular checks in line with ISGOTT to ensure safe discharge. Monitoring for leaks and adjust connections as required. Carrying out shore tank dipping. Taking samples from ships, cargo lines, shore tanks and truck bays. Testing in line with customer requirements. Performing line displacements, stripping operations and pigging operations. Accurately recording all activities and findings during the shift. Working hours vary depending on shipping and tidal conditions.
