In this role, you will work with reporting, data modelling, and visualization, building business intelligence solutions that connect data from databases, APIs, cloud services, and tools such as Excel, Jira, and Solman.</p><p>You will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders, translating reporting needs into dashboards and data models that are accurate, scalable, and easy to use. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your BI expertise while shaping reporting solutions with visible business impact.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>You will design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business needs.</li><li>You will build, optimize, and maintain data models using DAX and Power Query.</li><li>You will work with ETL and data integration from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, cloud services, Excel, Jira, and Solman.</li><li>You will collaborate with stakeholders to turn reporting requirements into technical solutions.</li><li>You will improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting solutions.</li><li>You will optimize report performance and data refresh processes.</li><li>You will maintain documentation for data models, reports, and related processes.</li><li>You will troubleshoot issues, support users, and enhance existing reports.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (1-2 years)</li><li>Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service</li><li>Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)</li><li>Strong proficiency in Power Query (M language)</li><li>Solid understanding of data modelling concepts such as star schema, normalization, and relationships</li><li>Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving ability</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Ability to complete a drug test before the assignment starts</li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li>Familiarity with Python</li><li>Experience with large-scale or enterprise BI solutions</li><li>Experience with Microsoft PowerApps, SharePoint, and Power Automate</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Permanent employment at Avaron AB</li><li>Occupational pension</li><li>Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year</li></ul><h3>Application</h3><p>Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.</p>
