What you'll do Utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience in the automotive industry to execute industrialization Casting / Machining projects; Follow methods and techniques for equipment in the production, execute equipment projects for the production units to fulfil the defined quality, lead time, cost efficiency, safety/health/environment, flexibility, change over; Establish and update technical equipment specifications within the area; Execute equipment projects (develops, calculates, plans, TSU, procures and verifies) for plants within area; Check and verify documentation and drawings; Follow up of the contractors during design, manufacturing and installation, ensure that specifications are followed; Understand and implement Volvo standards in new projects; Report status and deviations in decided systems / tools and ensure that there are action plans to reach targets; Handover equipment in the area on responsibility to the end user. What you'll bring Previous manufacturing engineering experience working on equipment projects (project lead/installation/commissioning) associated with low & high voltage workshop electrical systems and PLCs, is mandatory; Previous working experience with sourcing process (internal & external relations in sourcing), laser and plasma application and Project management experience; Preferred engineering education: Electrical, Automation, Mechanical/Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or equivalent; At least basic knowledge of PLC programming, and knowledge of related software e.g., Siemens TIA/WinCC, preferably also being familiar with robot peripherals; Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, P&ID, and mechanical drawings; Good understanding of Teamcenter, CATIA V5, Auto CAD; Conversational in English, written and spoken, and preferably proficient in Slovak language; Ability and willingness to travel within and outside Europe, although based in Kosice District, Slovakia; Not only an individual contributor attitude but also an ability to work within a multinational team; Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies; Analytic and engineering data reporting skills. Compensation Data Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.200 EUR. * The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
