Marketing & Publishing Manager Permanent Employment - full time Location: Skövde, Sweden Stunlock Studios is looking for an experienced marketer to join the team behind V Rising. With a new game currently in development, this is an exciting opportunity to help bring the next chapter of the franchise to players around the world. Role Summary The Marketing & Publishing Manager is responsible for coordinating and driving the day-to-day execution of the studio’s marketing activities, publishing operations, global campaigns, and player-facing commercial initiatives, while leading and developing the marketing team. Working closely with the Marketing Director, the role helps translate marketing strategy into effective campaign planning, team coordination, and execution across channels, regions, and platforms. Responsibilities Marketing Operations & Campaign Management Collaborate with the Marketing Director to translate marketing strategy into global campaign planning and execution across channels, regions, and platforms, supporting brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and commercial performance Lead and oversee the day-to-day marketing team operations across campaigns, social media, community initiatives, influencer activities, sales, and player-facing communication Support audience research, player insights, market analysis, lifecycle marketing initiatives, and competitor monitoring to inform campaign planning and marketing decisions Coordinate product launches, campaign calendars, community initiatives, live beats, influencer activations, and promotional initiatives across departments Manage workflows, priorities, timelines, briefs, tools, and quality assurance processes to ensure effective delivery Coordinate the planning, production, review, and delivery of marketing assets, creative materials, and campaign deliverables across internal teams and external partners, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and alignment with campaign objectives Publishing & Platform Management Oversee and work with publishing operations and platform-related marketing activities across digital storefronts and partner platforms Coordinate marketing roadmaps, platform assets, sales initiatives, store page updates, localization efforts, promotional and business opportunities, and publishing timelines in collaboration with the Marketing Director and the Sales & Commercial Operations Manager Coordinate player-facing communication across owned channels, including storefronts, websites, newsletters, social platforms, and community channels Support external publishing and business relationships, and collaborate with platform partners on marketing opportunities and deliveries Ensure publishing-related communication, assets, and deliverables meet platform requirements and deadlines Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead, mentor, and support marketing team members through employee development, performance management, operational leadership, planning, prioritization, workload management, and ongoing follow-up. Collaborate closely with development, product, sales, community, and external partners to coordinate assets, feedback, timelines, publishing activities, and campaign execution Support alignment between marketing strategy, product development, publishing priorities, and commercial goals across the organization Performance, Budget & External Coordination Track and review campaign performance, audience growth, engagement metrics, and relevant commercial indicators, providing input and recommendations in collaboration with the Marketing Director and the Sales & Commercial Operations Manager Support budget planning, external agencies, marketing tools, contracts, and operational vendor relationships in collaboration with the Marketing Director, CFO, and the Sales & Commercial Operations Manager Coordinate external marketing partners, collaborators, influencers, agencies, and service providers when required Preferred Skills & Experience Strong passion for games and community-driven multiplayer experiences, with a deep interest in learning and understanding V Rising, its world, and gameplay systems, player behavior, and community culture Experience with digital marketing and supporting the launch of at least one shipped game title through marketing operations, campaign coordination, and publishing workflows Strong understanding of Steamworks, digital storefront management, platform tools, publishing processes, promotions, events, platform requirements, and multi-channel marketing operations. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously Experience coordinating marketing and ad campaigns, launches, social media initiatives, influencer activities, or player-facing communication Leadership experience or experience supporting teams, workflows, and operational coordination in collaborative environments Strong written English communication skills with an understanding of tone, audience engagement, and marketing communication Basic understanding of visual content production and lightweight design workflows, including familiarity with Photoshop or similar creative tools Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance, engagement metrics, and audience insights Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments with shifting priorities, live operational needs, and cross-functional collaboration Being a Stunlocker It's not all about games.
