You will develop and maintain high-quality sighting systems, working with new product development, product life cycle, and urgent technical or quality issues. The role requires strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in machining, precision mechanics, and tolerance analysis. Experience with D-FMECA, tolerance calculations, and test/validation is key to ensure our products meet high standards for accuracy, durability, and functionality.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>What you will do</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span>· Contribute technical expertise in machining and precision mechanics to new development projects, from concept to final product, including prototyping, testing, verification, and validation.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Lead D-FMECA, concept selection, and root cause analysis work.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Ensure that the design meet specified requirements and strict tolerance and performance standards.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Maintain and improve existing products based on field data and customer feedback.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with precision requirements.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"><span>· Quickly resolve urgent technical or production issues affecting quality or delivery.</span><br><span><br><strong>Skills and Experience</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span>· Solid knowledge of manufacturing methods, material selection, and machining for precision components.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks) and experienced in designing mechanical products.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Skilled in tolerance analysis</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to address urgent technical issues.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Experienced in technical documentation, test analysis, and facilitating of workshops.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"><span>· Able to work in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"><span>· Fluency in both Swedish and English is required. <br><br></span><br><span><strong>Personal Qualities</strong></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span>· Structured, detail-oriented, and accurate.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize urgent tasks in a changing environment.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span>· Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"><span>· Innovative, curious, and driven to develop new solutions and improve products.</span><br><span><br><br><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong> <br>Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Typically 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with focus on machining and precision mechanics.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Why Aimpoint?</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>We are driven by our core values: Performance, Innovation, and Commitment! - and we believe you are too!</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Just
