Member of Technical Staff (Full Stack)

ABOUT US ATG (Autonomous Technologies Group) is an AI lab deploying frontier reasoning systems within financial markets. Founders: Early GPU cloud (9 figure exit). ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll build core user interfaces, APIs, and backend infrastructure. You’ll operate across the stack: designing, shipping, and maintaining everything from frontend product experiences to backend services that power strategy, data, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who likes shipping end-to-end, cares about craft, and enjoys working in a small team with high ownership. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, build, and maintain frontend applications (web and/or mobile) and backend APIs powering core product experiences. - Work closely with research/quant and product teams to turn investment logic, simulations, and data pipelines into reliable product surfaces. - Build internal dashboards, tools, and data visualizations for monitoring portfolios, experiments, and operational workflows. - Own features end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration. - Maintain high standards for code quality, usability, reliability, and performance. - Improve developer velocity through good systems: CI/CD, tooling, clear interfaces, and pragmatic documentation. REQUIREMENTS - 3+ years experience as a full stack engineer (startup, product team, or high-ownership environment). - Strong skills in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and backend development (Python, Node, Go, etc.). - Experience building, testing, and deploying production web applications. - Experience designing and integrating APIs (REST and/or GraphQL), plus strong understanding of data modeling and system boundaries. - Solid fundamentals: debugging, performance, and reliability in real-world systems. - Ability to work autonomously, prioritize well, and thrive in a fast-moving, research-driven culture. - Comfort leveraging modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to increase output while maintaining maintainability and structure. - (Optional) Experience with mobile development (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter). - (Optional) Experience with financial systems, portfolio data, or high-stakes UX.
