Related technical services like prototyping, industrialisation, material analysing and test development are also key competencies Kitron offers.</p><figure data-alignment="left" class="relative" style="width:fit-content;margin-left:0px;margin-right:auto;"><img src="https://images.teamtailor-cdn.com/images/s3/teamtailor-production/original-v3/image_uploads/32505186-1958-4f5c-8237-38224a8be3cc/original.png" alt="" title="" data-alignment="left"></figure><p></p><p> </p><hr><p><strong>Location: </strong>Kaunas<br><strong>Deadline: </strong>2026-07-31</p><p>Kitron is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the global Procurement team located in Kaunas.<strong> </strong>The main responsibility in this role is to make procurement decisions and place purchase orders, within the assigned portfolio by defined internal processes.</p><p>Temporary position to cover maternity leave until approximately 2028-03-01</p><h3><strong>Job Description:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Procurement of parts from specified suppliers according to agreed terms and conditions, in the assigned portfolio</p></li><li><p>Ensure receipt of supplier order acknowledgement</p></li><li><p>Review and maintain data on open POs until closed</p></li><li><p>Identify and manage extra cost charges related to purchase orders placed</p></li><li><p>Upon demand expedite incoming material and report status on potential shortages to relevant internal functions</p></li><li><p>Upon demand postpone or cancel material delivery according to changes in the manufacturing plan</p></li><li><p>Report and manage non-conformances towards suppliers</p></li><li><p>Upon request clarify invoice discrepancies</p></li><li><p>Create non-BOM POs upon request by sourcing</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Experience working with suppliers</p></li><li><p>Education at the relevant university level within the supply chain, manufacturing or engineering (lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience)</p></li><li><p>Experience with ERP systems and general good computer skills</p></li><li><p>Strong English and Lithuanian language skills, both written and spoken</p></li><li><p>Analytical, structured and able to influence change</p></li></ul><h3><strong>We offer:</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Salary range for this position is 1800-2500 EUR gross (before taxes) per month; in Kitron salary offer is based on the predefined salary ranges for each position and depends on the level of experience and competence of the candidate</p></li><li><p>Global projects and highly skilled team</p></li><li><p>Hybrid work type and flexible working hours</p></li><li><p>Performance-based annual bonus</p></li><li><p>Extra attention and benefits for the employee in case of important life events</p></li><li><p>Partners' discounts</p></li><li><p>Accident insurance 24/7 and full travel insurance (valid on business trips)</p></li><li><p>1 extra vacation day per year and 2 additional vacation days after 5 years</p></li><li><p>Health promotion (various preventive extra health checks)</p></li><li><p>Opportunities for personal and professional development</p></li><li><p>Training and competence development courses</p></li></ul>
