Project Buyer

We are looking for a driven and communicative Project Buyer to join our team. This is a key role in a dynamic supply chain environment, where you will act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and suppliers worldwide. You will balance structured processes with problem-solving in a fast-paced setting, contributing to both day-to-day purchasing operations and long-term supply chain improvements. Responsibilities Negotiate project-specific purchase orders based on agreed terms, conditions and price lists Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures Build and maintain supplier relationships with clear and formalized communication Monitor and ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery performance targets Collaborate closely with colleagues on procurement-related tasks Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement Prepare and manage purchase orders end-to-end Communicate supply risks and issues that may impact business operations Actively contribute to the organization's digitalization journey Qualifications Proven procurement experience with a structured and commercial mindset Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Analytical approach with demonstrated problem-solving ability Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and deliver on set targets Commercial and financial awareness Adaptable to shifting business needs and customer demands Familiarity with SAP Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken About Astek Sweden Astek is built on curiosity, technical passion and a commitment to innovation.
