Project Manager Sourcing – Global Indirect Sourcing

We are looking for a dedicated and collaborative Project Manager Sourcing to join the Global Indirect Sourcing organization with our client. The position is based in Örebro , where you will be part of a supportive, international team that truly cares about people and the planet. You will work alongside colleagues who are committed to diving sourcing excellence and transformation across the group, with a strong focus on sustainability, compliance, and long‑term value creation. Your mission As Project Manager Sourcing, you will lead and deliver complex, cross‑organizational sourcing initiatives that span regions, functions, and categories. You represent Global Indirect Sourcing as the sourcing project lead in group‑level initiatives, unlocking value beyond what steady‑state category management or fragmented sourcing can deliver. You will work in close cooperation with Category Managers, regional sourcing teams, business stakeholders, and subject‑matter experts with the mission to: • Drive and execute Group wide RFx and negotiation projects • Lead cross region supplier consolidation and harmonization initiatives • Manage spot or episodic sourcing events requiring rapid, structured execution • Support and lead post merger sourcing programs • Drive category transitions in close alignment with category owners • Execute cross divisional, cross regional sourcing waves and group level RFx • Lead new sourcing initiatives and first time category setups • Conduct complex negotiations, including should costing and e auctions • Ensure structured handover to category teams after business award and implementation • Safeguard sourcing governance, methodology, and best practices for scalable, complex events • Promote sustainability, compliance, and responsible sourcing across all initiatives Project Sourcing is a centrally governed expert team. You will lead the sourcing execution for complex, scalable, and group level initiatives, while Category Managers retain stakeholder and supplier relationship ownership. Together, you ensure optimal business outcomes for the entire organization. Your profile You have experience in strategic sourcing, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration, ideally within a global or matrix organization. You are comfortable leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and navigating both strategic and operational dimensions of sourcing. We believe you have: • Significant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement project management • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex RFx processes • A solid understanding of business dynamics across regions and functions • Experience in IT sourcing is highly desirable • A university degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent experience • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken You enjoy working in a structured, collaborative environment and have a keen interest in driving sourcing excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement. You build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Location and travel This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
