<h3><span>Assignment Overview</span></h3><p><span>We are looking for <strong>two Radar & LiDAR Integration Consultants</strong>.</span></p><p><span>If you have a candidate that you believe would be the perfect match for this assignment, please send a quote and CV (including number of years of relevant experience) as soon as possible.</span></p><div><hr></div><h3><span>Insights from the Team</span></h3><p><span>You will join a unit of three teams responsible for Radar and LiDAR integration, providing a reliable sensor data flow that enables high-quality AD/ADAS software.</span></p><h3><span>Radar Integration Team</span></h3><p><span>The Radar Integration team develops:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Radar data forwarder (radar-server, DFPs)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Radar administration software</span></p></li><li><p><span>Data translation for simulation and DL training (radar log quality check)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Radar data-quality checks (Data Quality Nexus)</span></p></li></ul><p><span>The team also participates in the design of radar software.</span></p><h3><span>LiDAR Integration Team</span></h3><p><span>The LiDAR Integration team develops the next-generation, LiDAR-based ground-truth roofbox — a state-of-the-art reference system platform used for training the DL2 network.</span></p><p><span>The team:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Evaluates sensor performance</span></p></li><li><p><span>Owns the complete data path from sensor to vigem (logger)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Decodes raw sensor data for ingestion by the data pipeline</span></p></li></ul><p><span>The mission is to provide accurate reference data for training and validation and to guarantee a high standard of data quality.</span></p><div><hr></div><h3><span>Your Mission and Day-to-Day Tasks</span></h3><p><span>As a Software Developer in our Radar/LiDAR Integration unit, your work is a dynamic blend of embedded software development, data handling, and collaboration with the wider AD/ADAS organization.</span></p><h3><span>Your days are filled with:</span></h3><ul><li><p><span>Developing and maintaining sensor data forwarding, administration, and decoding software</span></p></li><li><p><span>Designing and improving data-quality checks across the sensor data flow</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyzing sensor data and contributing to the design of radar and LiDAR software</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborating with sensor suppliers, perception, simulation, and DL training teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Automating builds, tests, and data evaluations in CI/CD</span></p></li></ul><div><hr></div><h3><span>What's in It for You</span></h3><ul><li><p><span>Influence the product direction in a dynamic industry with a life-saving mission</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work on the critical interface between physical sensors and the AD/ADAS software stack</span></p></li><li><p><span>Shape your role based on your competencies and interests across the Radar and LiDAR teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Opportunities for both deep technical contribution and broader architectural reasoning</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work in a global environment with people from diverse backgrounds</span></p></li><li><p><span>A flexible, hybrid work setup with an expectation of 3 days per week on-site</span></p></li></ul><div><hr></div><h3><span>Qualifications & Experience</span></h3><p><span>We're on the lookout for someone whose motivation speaks louder than experience.</span></p><p><span>Your commitment to crafting solutions that truly matter is what sets you apart. You care deeply about the end product and understand that the quality of the sensor data flow defines what the AD/ADAS system can achieve.</span></p><p><span>You're a problem-solver, a team player, and equally comfortable working independently or driving things forward together with others.</span></p><h3><span>Essential Experience</span></h3><ul><li><p><a target="_blank" href="http://M.Sc"><span>M.Sc</span></a><span>. or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or similar</span></p></li><li><p><span>Advanced C++ experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>Python for tooling, scripting, and sensor data analysis</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with sensor data — radar, LiDAR, or comparable sensor domains (sensor fusion experience is highly valued)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Git</span></p></li><li><p><spa
