Operating from our Innovation Hub in Athlone, we are building a <strong>“CTO 2.0” ecosystem</strong>—moving our client from legacy, manual workflows to an intelligent, automated operating model powered by <strong>Autonomous AI Agents</strong>.</span></p><p><span>This is not a theoretical R&D initiative. We are deploying <strong>production-grade Generative AI, Digital Twin solutions, and cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</strong> to modernise critical national infrastructure across domains such as Fixed Access Engineering, Core Network Engineering, and Data Centre Sustainability.</span></p><p><span>As a <strong>DevOps Engineer</strong>, you will play a key role in building, securing, and operating the cloud platforms that host and orchestrate AI agents at scale, enabling rapid delivery while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and security.</span></p><h5><span><strong>The Role</strong></span></h5><p><span>You will work within a high-performance, cross-functional delivery pod alongside Software Engineers, AI Architects, Solution Architects, and Product teams. Your focus will be on <strong>CI/CD automation, platform reliability, infrastructure as code, and cloud security</strong>, ensuring the Agentic AI platform can scale safely and efficiently.</span></p><h5><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h5><ul><li><p><span>Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native and AI-driven services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud environments using tools such as Terraform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Deploy, operate, and optimise containerised workloads using Kubernetes (GKE) and cloud-native runtimes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure platform availability, scalability, and resilience through proactive monitoring and optimisation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Embed security best practices into pipelines and infrastructure, including IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment patterns and operational readiness.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement observability across the platform using logging, metrics, and alerting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.</span></p></li></ul><h5><span><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></span></h5><ul><li><p><span>8+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good background in implementing GitOps principles (ArgoCD is preferred, Flux, ConfigSync)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with any of scripting languages (Python, Go, or Bash).</span></p></li></ul><h5><span><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></span></h5><ul><li><p><span>Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive platforms.</span></p></li><li><p>Experience with load balancing solutions, high-availability deployments, and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) in cloud-native or distributed environments.</p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with regulated or security-sensitive environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to telecom platforms, OSS/BSS, or large-scale distributed systems.</span></p&gt
