Senior Digital Product Designer

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Digital Product Designer. Description of the assignment You will be part of a cross-functional group dedicated to creating seamless interaction experiences across both digital and physical environments. The Digital & Interaction team collaborates closely with other design disciplines, including Exterior Design, Interior Design, and Brand Design, to deliver cohesive user experiences throughout the vehicle ecosystem. As a Senior Product Designer, you will contribute to the design and development of digital products and experiences across a wide range of projects. You combine strong design craft with a broad understanding of what makes products useful, intuitive, and enjoyable to use. You are comfortable working throughout the design process—from exploring concepts and user needs to defining interaction flows, creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs. You enjoy solving complex problems and turning them into simple, elegant experiences. The role includes translating user insights, product requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive solutions. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product stakeholders to shape experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. We value designers who have a holistic view of product development and understand that great products are the result of many disciplines working together. Beyond strong UX and visual design skills, you have an appreciation for the details that elevate an experience—from interaction patterns and motion to content, usability, and overall product quality. You are a curious, collaborative, and hands-on designer who enjoys moving between big-picture thinking and detailed execution to create products that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and well-crafted. Your responsibilities will include  Having an overview of the full in-car experience.  Driving design discussions within the team and engaging stakeholders.  Ensuring a holistic and consistent user and customer experience.  Translating complex function-requests in to user-friendly experiences.  Ensuring quality levels throughout all design-processes  Communicating your ideas and work towards team and stakeholders. Qualifications and skills required for the role  Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability  Ability to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for digital touchpoints.  Good knowledge in creation of detailed UI animations  Experience in using design systems and creating specifications for implementation  Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, strategists and product managers throughout the design process  Diverse portfolio highlighting projects that demonstrate experience in crafting digital user interfaces  Experienced in creating interaction flows  Experienced in conducting user research and testing Personal attributes  Strong drive, independent and organised as well as a good team player  Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills, able to drive concepts and ideas forward  Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions  Ability to manage competing project priorities and constraints  Comfortable working in flat and dynamic teams  Passionate to work on ambiguous and complex future challenges  Creative problem solver, structured, methodical, analytical  Highly motivated, flexible, and able to work under constrained time schedules  Cultural awareness, especially Asian and European culture Additional information  Travels to China may be needed (approx. 1-2 trips per year).  Everyone in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate and is expected to be able to work autonomously  Fluent in English, spoken and written  Driver’s license Please note!
