Senior UI Designer

For our client, we are looking for a Senior UI Designer. Description of the assignment You will be part of a cross-functional group dedicated to creating seamless interaction experiences across both digital and physical environments. The Digital & Interaction team collaborates closely with other design disciplines, including Exterior Design, Interior Design, and Brand Design, to deliver cohesive user experiences throughout the vehicle ecosystem. As a Senior UI Designer, you will contribute to the development of current and future in-car experiences by creating and evolving visual systems, iconography, UI components, layouts, and interactive prototypes. The role spans the entire design process, from developing and maintaining our design system to designing and prototyping digital products that integrate seamlessly with physical controls and touchpoints. You should be comfortable rapidly visualising concepts and creating quick mock-ups, while also maintaining the precision and attention to detail required for production-ready deliverables. We value designers with a broad skill set who can draw from multiple design disciplines to create thoughtful, engaging, and user-friendly experiences. Experience in motion design, 3D visuals , interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping is highly desirable. Your responsibilities will include  Creating and maintaining scalable design systems and UI component libraries.  Designing interfaces and interaction flows for upcoming in-car experiences.  Translating complex function-requests in to user-friendly experiences.  Delivering pixel-perfect, production ready designs and ensuring design quality through development.  Communicating your ideas and work towards team and stakeholders. Qualifications and skills required for the role  Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability Good knowledge in defining user tests for digital interfaces  Ability to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for digital touchpoints.  Good knowledge in creation of detailed UI animations  Strong ability in creating icons  Experience in creating and maintaining design systems and creating specifications for implementation  Ability to lead others within design  Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, strategists and product managers throughout the design process  Diverse portfolio highlighting projects that demonstrate experience in crafting digital user interfaces  Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, strategists and product managers throughout the design process  Experience in Blender is a big advantage Personal attributes  Structured and Strategic  Strong drive, independent and organized as well as a good team player  Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.  Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions  Ability to manage competing project priorities and constraints  Comfortable working in relatively flat and dynamic teams  Passionate to work on ambiguous and complex future challenges  Creative problem solver, structured, methodical, analytical  Highly motivated, flexible, and able to work under constrained time schedules  Cultural awareness, especially Asian and European culture Additional information  Travels to China may be needed (approx. 1-2 trips per year).  Everyone in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate and is expected to be able to work autonomously  Fluent in English, spoken and written  Driver’s license Please note!
