Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.</em></p><p></p><p>The Web Engineering team builds and maintains 1Password's main Marketing website (<a href="http://1password.com">1password.com</a>) to help showcase campaigns, new features, and the incredible work being done here at 1Password. We're at a pivotal point in our journey with the website and are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Web Developer</strong> to bring their expertise, drive, and passion to help us continue to grow and evolve the platform. You will work with Product, Design, Content, SEO, Digital Web Experience, and other Marketing and Engineering teams to deliver the next generation of our web presence.</p><p><strong>How we’re using AI today</strong></p><p>On the Marketing team, we’re growing our AI capability together and redesigning how work gets done. We’ve built agents to improve workflows focused on competitive intelligence, content creation, and campaign planning, helping us stay sharp, reduce context-switching, and surface the right information at the right time. AI helps us coordinate, execute, and uncover insights faster so we can spend more time on what’s most important: performance, judgement, and driving the future of 1Password.</p><p></p><p>This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.</p><p></p><p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p><ul><li><p>4+ years of experience designing and building complex, production-grade client-side web applications, from initial planning through to deployment</p></li><li><p>Advanced production experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, CSS frameworks and component libraries</p></li><li><p>Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), automations, and AI-assisted development tools</p></li><li><p>Experience contributing to the evolution and scalability of web platforms, including large-scale migrations, web performance optimization, technical SEO, headless CMS, and frontend architecture</p></li><li><p>The ability to set the technical vision for a project, contribute to the team's roadmap, and proactively make sound, independent technical decisions even in ambiguous or fast-moving environments</p></li><li><p>Experience being a technical partner in planning, executing, and shipping features in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Experience shipping quality software quickly, focusing on customer value and iteration</p></li><li><p>Ability to offer constructive feedback through code reviews and a genuine interest in mentoring junior and intermediate developers</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Bonus points for:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with Contentful CMS</p></li><li><p>Experience with Marketing Technologies and integrations, journeys and metrics (Marketo, Chatbots, B2B, B2C, Bounce Rates, Pageviews, etc.)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you can expect:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Partnering with cross-functional teams to help prioritize work that balances product requirements, customer value, and technical needs</p></li><li><p>Leading the technical design and implementation of features, platform improvements, and large-scale migrations across the Marketing website</p></li><li><p>Owning end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large projects, from scoping and planning through to production</p></li><li><p>Making informed technical decisions within your projects and documenting solutions and architectural designs</p></li><li><p>Writing code with a focus on reliability, quality, and durability</
