We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with testing experience who wants to be part of our team and drive progress. The services we work with is based around a smaller product team with several dependencies and integrations. This makes the profile vital to be able to collaborate & communicate clearly and secure that clarity Is achieved. The role also contains a testing element, when requirements and agreements are in place you would contribute to test effort in UI, API & cloud. You will contribute with automate manual tests incl. exploration testing, integration tests and drive quality aspects in our development lifecycle. You will also conduct investigations (eg logs, integrations, browser DevTools) and play an active part in setting up and improving our monitoring of existing services. Competence Profile and Qualifications: • Secure clarity in requirements on all levels: business, functional • Responsible of making sure that requirements on all levels match the business needs. • Analyze and breakdown business requirement to functional • Drive requirements into devops teams • Create clarity when there is uncertainty or confusion • Collaborate, communicate and secure handshake with dependent team on business & functional requirements to ensure technical solution along with Product Manager • Secure validation requirements (acceptance criteria) in collaboration with architects and Developers • Manual testing when needed • Investigate failures in system tests during new development, operations and incidents. • Report and analyze defects in non-prod environments and follow up progress • Contribute to team’s on-going work with test automation UI Required Expertise: • 5+ years as business analyst with experience of breaking down requirements from business to functional and functional to technical requirements. • 3+ years as tester • Expertise in structuring and validate information • Expertise in translating needs into requirements and solutions. • Ability to negotiate requirements with devops teams and stakeholders • Strong automation/technical background and analytical skills • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Team player at all times • Can do attitude • Experience from working with digital services • Complete proficiency in English is a requirement, Swedish is a plus. • Proficiency in Automating test cases for UI, API and/or Backend. • Proficiency in API testing (Insomnia / Postman ) with knowledge of micro services • Knowledge & hands on experience of different API types: Websocket, Rest, GraphQl • Knowledge about Software Test Life Cycle with expertise in any of one of Test Management Tool • Test automation frameworks knowledge and hands on experience from any of the automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Robot, UI Automation) Highly Valued Skills: • Team leader mentality • Scrum master experience • Experience in testing & automation • Experience from working with digital services in IoT space • Good knowledge in agile principles • Experience in using AI tools like AWS Kiro or Co-pilot Development experience is a plus • Good to have basics for web fundamentals like HTML, CSS and JavaScript • DevOps/CI/CD pipelines. Work location: On site primarily at Lindholmen Science Park, Göteborg REGARDING NECESSARY BACKGROUND CHECKS: You, the supplier, must conduct a background check as soon as possible after the candidate has been chosen for the assignment. As a part of the contract signature, you, the supplier, will also sign a ‘SELF-DECLARATION FORM’ confirming all requested Background Checks are completed. If you/your consultant is selected for the assignment, you are responsible to ensure the background check is completed before signing a contract. Our client reserves the right to request evidence of completion of these checks according to their expectations for the duration of the contingent worker assignment. If any deviations or discrepancies occur, the supplier should inform Ework and the candidate should not be moving forward in the procurement process. Any supplier awarded an assignment with our client needs to, at least, perform checks on: • Identity verification • Right-to-work confirmation • Address verification (covering approximately the last 10 years) • Education verification (highest relevant degree or certification) • Financial fitness (e.g., history of bankruptcy or significant debts) • Corporate directorship review (where applicable) • Criminal record check in accordance with local legislation • Basic open-source / media review (including social media)
