You will also interact with external parties such as infrastructure hardware and software vendors, managed service providers, datacenter and cloud partners, and external consultants.</span></p></div><div><p><br><span><strong>Responsibilities </strong><br>In this role, you will be a key contributor to strengthening and developing Knightec Group’s core IT landscape. You will act as a subject matter expert and 3rd line escalation point, while also taking part and in cases drive strategic infrastructure initiatives that improve resilience, reduce complexity, and position the business for a fast-paced future.</span><br></p></div><div><p><span><strong>Qualifications </strong><br>To succeed in this role, you are curious, solution-oriented, and a strong team player. In addition to your personal qualities, you should have:</span><br></p></div><ul><li><p><span>Engineering degree in IT or equivalent competence.</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform-focused IT roles. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise infrastructure across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud services. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience with virtualisation (e.g. VMware, Proxmox, Nutanix, HyperV).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience in networking (firewalls, switching, routing, micro segmentation, WiFi and related hardware).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience with system administration in Windows Server and Linux (e.g. installation, patching, web servers, hardening, logging).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid experience with Identity management (e.g. AD, EntraID, IAM, RBAC, SSO, User provisioning, PIM, PAM, Access tiering).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. </span></p></li><li><p><span>A strong automation mindset and experience improving operational efficiency through scripting, standardization, or infrastructure-as-code approaches. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with both infrastructure and system monitoring.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A structured and security-focused way of working, with sound judgement in change management and access control. </span></p></li><li><p><span>The ability to document clearly, communicate effectively, and collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluency in English, written and spoken.</span></p></li></ul><div><div><p><br><span><strong>Nice to Have</strong></span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Swedish is highly meritorious. </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience in the professional service industry, e.g. working as a consultant.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience with any type of coding.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience working in an international IT environment.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience working with Azure and/or AWS in hybrid enterprise environments. </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span><br><strong>An Exciting Journey w
