Our focus is always on high quality, professionalism and clear, measurable results.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>We are now seeking a <strong>Technical Project Lead – Smart Buildings, Energy Optimization & IoT</strong>- for one of our clients.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>About the assignment:</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span>For our client in Skåne we are looking for a Technical Project Lead to drive and coordinate initiatives within smart buildings, energy optimization, and IoT-enabled property solutions.<br><br>The role operates at the intersection of Operational Technology (OT), IT systems, and property operations, acting as a key integrator across stakeholders, platforms, and vendors. The assignment focuses on enabling data-driven energy optimization and scalable smart building solutions through strong technical understanding and structured project leadership.<br><br>Main responsibilities<br><br>*Lead and coordinate projects within smart heating control, energy optimization, and connected building solutions.<br><br>*Act as the primary interface between property operations, IT platforms, and System vendors and partners.<br><br>*Define and govern technical integration requirements.<br><br>*Drive decisions related to system architecture, integrations, and data flows.<br><br>* Support procurement, vendor management, and technical evaluations.<br><br>* Ensure successful implementation of IoT-enabled solutions across multiple systems.<br><br>Required qualifications:<br>NOTE: The customer is open to candidates with strong integration and IoT understanding even if not all OT domains are fully covered.<br><br>The consultant should have demonstrated experience and understanding within two or more of the following:<br>Building Automation & OT<br>- Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) and controllers<br>- HVAC systems and district heating environments<br>- Smart building technologies and OT environments<br>- Data collection and monitoring from property systems<br>- Understanding of data extraction and operational data usage<br><br>IT & System Integration<br>- IT infrastructure and system architecture<br>- Integration patterns and data flows<br>- Cloud-based platforms and connected systems<br>- Ability to engage in technical dialogue with developers, integrators, and vendors<br><br>API & IoT Communication<br>- REST APIs (design, authentication, formats such as JSON/XML)<br>- System-to-system integration principles<br>- MQTT protocol (brokers, topics, device-to-cloud communication)<br>- Understanding of secure and event-driven communication<br>- Ability to define requirements and guide implementation (not necessarily develop)<br><br>Project Management<br>- Proven experience leading technical implementation projects<br>- Strong stakeholder and vendor coordination capabilities<br>- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications<br>- Demonstrated planning and execution skills in complex environments<br><br>Meritorious:<br>The customer merits experience in one or more of the following areas:<br>*IoT & Platforms<br>- IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Yggio, Siemens Insights Hub<br>- Device lifecycle management and edge computing<br><br>*Monitoring & Analytics<br>- Tools such as Grafana, Power BI<br>- Monitoring platforms and energy analytics solutions<br>- Dashboarding and visualization<br><br>*Energy Optimization<br>- Smart heating optimization<br>- Demand response and energy flexibility<br>- Energy analytics and utility integrations<br><br>Personal Chararacteristics:<br>- Technically strong with an analytical mindset<br>- Structured and solution-oriented<br>- Comfortable leading complex technical discussions<br>- Self-driven and proactive<br>- Strong communicator, able to bridge business, operations, and technology stakeholders<br><br>Candidates typically come from environments such as:<br>- Smart buildings / building automation<br>- Energy management / utilities<br>- IoT solutions / system integration<br>- Industrial automation or PropTech</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Additional information</strong><br><br>The assignment is 100% and allows Hybrid-work, with a minimum of 60% at the Customer office in Lund or Customer project sites.<br><br>The assignment starts in the beginning of September and will continue for 12 months, with a high chance of extension.<br><br>When applying, please add your requested fee (if partner) or internal cost (if employed).<br><br>Please have your CV updated when you apply.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Assignment start:</strong> 2026-09-01</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong&gt
