Test & Quality Assurance Lead

For DNB we are looking for a Test Lead. About the role We are seeking an experienced Test & Quality Assurance Lead to join our team and take a central role in shaping how we deliver high quality, resilient, and compliant solutions across the organisation. This is a senior position working closely with delivery lead, responsible for setting the overall direction for quality assurance and ensuring that our products and platform consistently meet the highest standards. The role owns the organisation’s QA strategy, governs our quality framework, and ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, enterprise architecture, and risk and compliance expectations. As part of the delivery team, you will represent the quality agenda and contribute directly to decisions on prioritisation, risk acceptance, and release readiness. You will provide clear, data driven insight into quality trends, KPIs, and risk indicators to support informed leadership decisions and strengthen delivery predictability. You will be responsible for bringing coherence to quality practices across our program and delivery teams. This includes orchestrating cross team test planning, ensuring consistent QA processes, coordinating integration testing for complex dependencies, and leading production readiness assessments. You will also play an important role in incident reviews, using insights to drive continuous improvement and reinforce a culture of quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern, best practice testing disciplines, including automation, performance testing, and CI/CD integrated quality. You will champion the effective use of tools such as ALM/Octane, JIRA, and test data management solutions, ensuring we work in a structured, transparent, and compliant manner. You should also be familiar with use of AI within QA area. About the client In 2023, Group Management approved to start the Corporate Lending Transformation Program with the aim of replacing our core systems that are used to originate credit cases and service our loans. The CLT program will span over several years, and the overall objective is to implement new “state of the art” systems and processes that will help us improve the customer experience, increase our efficiency, reduce operational risk, as well as ensure long-term business value. The section Corporate Lending Servicing (CLS) in Technology & Services (T&S) and the Lending family is overall responsible for the modernization journey of Lending solutions and business transformation in this regard. Our mission is to create customer and business value enabled by modern and flexible credit solutions, extendable to other customer segments and products. About the role We are looking for an experienced Test Lead that will play a key role in ensuring quality and good testing practices in the CLS IT Deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test management for complex deliveries which includes both functional and non-functional testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to design and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring the reliability, performance and security. We are looking for a person who has high co-operative skills, takes initiative, has good structure and is solution oriented. You have good technical- and business understanding and high implementation ability. You think strategically at the same time as you get things done. You also enjoy facilitating and improving the ways we work. Key work tasks • Establish overall test strategy for the complex lending delivery stream • Plan and coordinate functional and non-functional testing within and across IT Teams • Ensuring complete test coverage across involved units • Ensure end to end testing from a functional/business perspective • Plan and execute non- functional tests such as security, performance, maintainability etc. • Regressions testing • Test automation Qualifications • Higher relevant education • Experience from Test management in large scale initiatives • Good understanding of cloud-based applications and core platforms • Good understanding of banking Industry, including financial processes and data • Experience working with multifunctional global teams • Experiences with agile development and testing • Experience with product tracking and test tools e.g., JIRA • Relevant certification • Norwegian and English language Start date: asap End date: TBA Location: Oslo We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application in English as soon as possible.
