The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern web technologies, automation, and AI frameworks, with hands-on experience in <strong>Claude code, Docker, Next.js, GitHub, and PostgreSQL</strong>. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to deliver scalable solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain web applications using <strong>Next.js</strong> and other modern frameworks.</li><li>Implement and optimize AI-driven features, including automation workflows and Claude code integrations.</li><li>Design, configure, and manage containerized applications using <strong>Docker</strong>.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into web platforms.</li><li>Manage version control, code reviews, and collaborative development using <strong>GitHub</strong>.</li><li>Design and maintain relational databases with <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>, ensuring data integrity and performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging technologies in web development and AI to propose innovative solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Schedule</strong></p><ul><li>Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST</li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web development.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in AI integration and automation projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in <strong>Next.js</strong> and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>Claude code</strong> and AI-driven automation tools.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Docker</strong> for containerization and deployment.</li><li>Expertise in <strong>GitHub</strong> workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative coding practices.</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> database design, optimization, and management.</li></ul><p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.</li><li>Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in web and AI technologies.</li></ul> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> <a href="https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/remote-va-web-developer-ai-specialist">https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/remote-va-web-developer-ai-specialist</a></p>
