For our Client from the healthcare sector, we are currently looking for a 2 Windows Support Engineers 📍 Location: Warsaw, Poland 🏢 Work model: Fully remote in Poland, with attendance at the Warsaw Hub 1–2 days per week Recruitment language: English Recruitment process: 2-step Online recruitment Role overview We are seeking a proactive L2/L3 Windows Operations Engineer to support Windows Server environments hosted both on-premises and in Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on maintaining OS health, ensuring high server availability, managing patching and monitoring, supporting server lifecycle activities, and driving operational excellence through automation and clear documentation. Key requirements: Strong experience supporting Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025. Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Windows Services, Event Logs, and Windows networking. Hands-on experience with Azure Arc, Azure Update Manager, SCCM, antivirus solutions, third-party applications, and security baselines for server hardening. Experience with SCOM, Netmon, and ServiceNow. Background in supporting hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Microsoft Azure. Working knowledge of VMware ESX, vCenter, or Hyper-V, as well as server storage. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. English proficiency at C1 level. Nice to have: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ITIL certification. Experience with DNS, IIS, and VMware. Microsoft Azure Administrator, Windows Server, and/or ITIL Foundation certifications. Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 support for Windows Server environments across on-premises and public cloud. Monitor server health, availability, and performance using SCOM and Netmon, and respond promptly to alerts and incidents. Troubleshoot, analyse root causes, and resolve OS, server, and infrastructure-related issues in line with SLA commitments. Perform Windows Server patching using Azure Update Manager and SCCM, ensuring patch compliance and successful deployment. Manage Incidents, Service Requests, Problems, and Changes in ServiceNow according to ITIL best practices. Support lifecycle management of servers and contribute to service reliability through automation and documentation. Success measures Consistent achievement of SLA targets for incident and request resolution. High Windows Server availability and operational stability. Timely patch compliance across hybrid environments. Increased automation and reduced manual effort. Strong documentation quality and useful knowledge base contributions. Proactive monitoring with fewer repeat incidents and improved service reliability.
