The role focuses on managing workshop engineers, maintaining stock and processes, supporting project delivery, and ensuring high-quality standards across all hardware-related services.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Workshop Operations</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Oversee all workshop activities, including builds, repairs, and equipment configuration</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Ensure all hardware is built, tested, and delivered in line with agreed timelines</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Manage booking-in and booking-out processes for equipment</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Hardware & Delivery</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Oversee hardware builds (laptops, desktops, servers, printers) and pre-configuration of systems</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Ensure devices are configured to agreed standards before deployment</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Support project teams with pre-builds and deployment preparation</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Stock & Procurement</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Assist with procurement of hardware, consumables, and stock items</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Manage relationships with suppliers and track deliveries</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Quality & Compliance</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Monitor product and service quality, ensuring any non-conformities are identified and addressed</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Ensure workshop processes follow company procedures and ISO/QMS standards</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Maintain accurate documentation for builds, repairs, and processes</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>People Management</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Lead, mentor, and develop workshop engineers and junior staff (Apprentices)</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Provide training and support to junior workshop roles</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Manage performance, workload, and development plans for the team</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Service & Collaboration</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Work closely with Service Desk, Projects, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth delivery of services</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Support project delivery through build scheduling and prioritisation</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Escalate risks or delays to senior management where required</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Reporting & Continuous Improvement</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Provide regular updates on workshop performance, capacity, and issues</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times</span></p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Support continuous improvement initiatives across the service function</span></p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>Skills & Experience Required</strong></span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p><span>Exp
